Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a new animated movie about Anakin Skywalker and his friends, including Obi-Wan Kenobi set to open on August 15.
The movie is a set up for the animated series coming out in the fall on the cartoon network. I have to be honest, normally I don't care for this stuff, but I have followed Star Wars since the first one came out in '76-which is when we were married! It was a very good year. I believe we saw Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope about 7 times at the theatre. I've lost count of the times we've seen the sequels.
I was glad to see George Lucas had a hand in putting this together, otherwise it just wouldn't be quite the same. Who knows? It still might not come up to what we all expect from some of his earlier productions. But then again, they can do wonders with animation!
