It snowed out last night. I guess it started in the afternoon sometime because getting home was bad news. We even stopped for groceries because hubby was going out of town on a retreat. I only wanted some soup. I heard the drive into Chicago was the worst, though. It took some co-workers up to 4 hours to get home! I think it took us about 10 minutes to go 1 mile, but at least we were moving. I remember one guy was walking past us, but he looked so cold. Then again, he could have been laughing at all of us cars crawling along-he was all bundled up and kept trekking along!
That said, the drive home tonight was normal because the snow was plowed and temperatures are expected to climb. Did I hear that it should reach 40 degrees by Monday?? A virtual heat wave!
