It has been brought to my attention that a group of former Prospect High School students who played in the Prospect Knights, now play as the Chicago Bulls Stampede Drumline!
To say this isn't familiar is an understatement. I guess that a couple of the percussionist also marched with the Cavaliers-who also had a drumline going for 'Da Bears'. I forget what they called themselves.
But the cool thing is, last month they had a "drum battle" with Detroit Pistons drumline. These guys sound more entertaining than the ballgame itself!!
So, if you're on your way to a basketball game or a football game watch out for the new sport in town-'Battle of the Drums!' Who knows? Baseball might even get wise, we pay enough for tickets!
