Another Snow Storm!

It didn't just snow, it came down fast and hard. They said on the weather that it was 2 inches an hour. Although I don't quite believe that, I do know we got about 14 inches of the stuff to shovel at home and had to wade through through the white stuff-now turning into ice and slush-on the way to even get home!

The whole problem with that is that we didn't hardly see a city plow all the way! It was like glass in many parts of the road and in other parts it has been described as a 'washboard'. Great description! I was truly scared for the undercarriage of our car! Even now, 2 days later, there are streets that have not been plowed. So, what are our village elders waiting for? Oh yeah, I read it in The Daily Herald, someone mentioned they could hardly wait for the sun to come out and melt the stuff. Isn't that why we pay taxes? I'm sure someone with the power to do something about this situation is working at it this very second. Unfotunately, why did they miss the snow storm and in the long run most probably cause all sorts of damage to cars?

Cheers!
