Dylan the sea turtle doing great

JEKYLL ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - One week ago, Dylan the sea turtle was released into the ocean after 10 years Dylan was released into the sea last week.in captivity.
She was apprehensive at first, but with a little encouragement from her keepers, she took to open waters.
So how is Dylan doing one week later? Her keepers say she's doing great! Dylan has traveled a total of 30 kilometers since last Monday and is now just off the coast of Cumberland Island.
Doctors at The Sea Turtle Center are monitoring her very closely and say it's normal for her to swim in shallow waters near the shoreline.
